E.L.K. Capital Advisors

About E.L.K.

E.L.K. is comprised of experienced advisory and capital raising professionals with deep backgrounds in private equity, venture capital and real estate investment banking, as well as principal investing and institutional and high net worth asset management.

E.L.K. Capital Advisors, LLC, was founded in February 2005 by Randall Winters. Mr. Winters formed E.L.K. largely as a result of market demand for a more effective and targeted professional capital raising and advisory model than is currently offered by traditional investment banking firms with counterproductive levels of bureaucracy and multiple client conflicts. E.L.K. is able to leverage the Principal’s deep relationships and skills by working directly with both equity sponsors and investors/buyers to most effectively deliver capital raising and advisory services in a flexible format.

Global Family Office Group
Prior to forming E.L.K., Mr. Winters was a senior relationship officer within the Deutsche Bank Global Family Office Group, headquartered in Chicago. He was primarily responsible for building and expanding the relationship base of family offices and consulting/advisory firms, and bridging the chasm between the Investment Bank and the Private Wealth Management sides of the firm through joint execution of complex transactions for highly sophisticated investors.

Mr. Winters built a network of investors seeking advice and creative investment ideas in the alternative investment asset classes. Mr. Winters holds a BSBA from Boston University and an MBA from the University of Chicago's Graduate School of Business. He holds the Series 7, 24, 28, 63, and 65 licenses and formerly practiced as a Certified Public Accountant in Illinois.
